With his father, Ivan Sam
"I tend to be the person that no one talks to but everyone knows of. In the past two years, I have also come out and transitioned socially. Having an opposite experience of what could happen, I was more accepted and included after I came out than before. Being able to grow into my own person instead of clinging to other people’s ideal version of me."
With their mother Sheri Cordero
"I’m very lucky to have the people I do in my life, my parents are supportive and the people I surround myself with are the same. However most kids don’t have that. I want to make sure that I can do my best to be there for those who need my help."
